OneNote 2007 and 2010 stores older versions of your files, which is a godsend if you’ve accidentally deleted files that you need. To see all the versions of your files in OneNote, click the Share tab and go to Page Versions in the History section. Click the dropdown menu and select Page Versions. Each previous version of your file will now be listed on the right with the dates when you last modified
them. To restore one of these earlier versions, right-click the file you want and click Restore Version.
This will now appear as your latest version, and all your earlier versions will still be available. You can delete versions by right-clicking them and selecting Delete Version. To delete all versions of your file from a section or a notebook, right-click any of them and select ‘Delete All Versions in Section’ or ‘Delete All Versions in Notebook’.
